Average Credit Score Knowledge Base
Whats the credit score average in the US? I heard it was 648 but that seems really low to me. I know my hubby's is 629 and we just started to build credit. He never had bad credit just no credit which is just as bad as having bad credit. We have no credit cards but have built it up in the last 6 months with financing our furniture. It has gone from a 580 to a 629 in that amount of time. Does ayone know the average score and how much longer will it take to get it to around 700?
My "below average" credit score kept me from getting the car in my budget... Now what? Is this it? Will I get the same answer at other dealerships? Should I go with a less expensive vehicle? Give a bigger deposit? Co signer is out of the question (don't want one don't have one). I'm staying below 15,000 and putting up an average deposit. The sales man said to take the deal in 6 months and refinance it once my score is higher. Is this real information? Or should I just keep looking?
What is the average credit score? I am just curious. My husband and I have scores at about 720. We are told that this is really good (espcially for our age, 23). Anyhow, I am curious how that really measures up to others. Like how many (percent wise) have a score less then that and how many above it. Just want to know if it is as good as it sounds or we are happy over nothing. Thanks
Can i buy a $150,000 home with $10,000 downpayment and an average credit score? I live currently on long island and the living cost here is just way too expensive i will never be able to afford buying my own house here. Where as i used to live outside of Houston, TX and with 150k you can easily get a very nice house thats less than 20 years old. so what am i looking at here? suppose i have 10k for downpayment... thanks!
