  1. It depends on a couple of factors, for instance, if those utilites report to the credit bureau. Being late by 30-60 days shouldn't effect your overall credit too much as long as you don't make a habit of it. Pay what you can in the meantime, and talk to your creditors if you are going to be late.
  2. Phone, Utilities, Cable, Etc. are usually not included on your credit report unless they go unpaid altogether and they have to come after you to collect. The only thing your hurting if you are paying those bills late is yourself with that company. GOOD LUCK
  3. there are 1,750 calculations that go into your credit score and a 90 day late 5 years ago - is not as bad as a 60 day late 3 months ago - pay 'em on time - OR don't run up the bill!
  4. Utility bills are not reported to the credit bureaus (there are 3) unless you are outrageously behind on them. When you first know you are going to be late paying a bill, call the creditor and explain your situation. If you will do this, you will avoid a lot of heartache as they will usually work with you. If you DO NOT call them, they think you are trying to avoid paying them, and are inclined to be more insistent. A lot of people do not call because they are either ashamed or irresponsible, but everyone has a hardship here and there. Also, be sure to do what you say you will do, as notes of the conversation will be made in the computer, and these notes will be used if it progresses to the point of a lawsuit against you.
  5. Unless those accounts report your actions to the credit agency then no. However, you should pay your bills on time and build a solid relationship with all of your accounts. If you would like to learn more then visit http://www.thecreditrepairmanual.com
