Is 682 a good credit score? What interest rate do I fall under to purchase a 2007 car?

- 682 is a decent credit score. It falls in the "average" range. Anything over 700 will usually qualify for the best rates, but your credit score shouldn't put you into a high-interest category. Shop around for a loan, the dealer usually doesn't have the best rates (unless there is a factory/manufacturer sponsored program like the 0% interest of a few years ago.) Good luck!
- try to get at less 700 and u could get a great APR
- this might give you an idea for a 36 month auto loan FICO score APR [?] Monthly payment * 720-850 7.186% $774 690-719 8.048% $784 660-689 9.545% $801 620-659 11.019% $819 590-619 14.308% $858 500-589 14.934% $866
- It's not bad - a little above the national average of 678. I got a great rate at Capital One Auto Finance (online) with a lower score than that. The local banks offered me horrible rates. Capital One rocks! (For auto loans, their credit cards are horrible.)
