What score is considered to be good, and when a company checks your credit score, do they check all of the credit reporting agencies and then take an average of the score or do they typically just pick one? oh really, i'm goina die? are you going to make that happen, please try...

- I believe the average "good score" is about 650-700. Some companies take an average of all three scores, and some take the score in the middle.
- Credit scores run between 400 and 800,, 600 is pretty good and will get you most things. Most company's look at all three reporting agencies and take an average. They also look at things like how many late payments you have had and how much available credit you have as apposed to how much credit debt you have. If you have a new car loan and three or more credit cards that are all maxed out, even if you have never been late on a payment it will still count against you. If you are applying for credit try to get as many of your accounts payed down as possible.
