- You need an actual credit report...they ask you for a credit report number when you are disputing an item...you can get a free credit report once a year at freeanualcreditreport.com ..they ask for you credit card and tell you its free for 30 days...get a credit report and then cancel before the 30 days are up ...you can fight the credit agencies with that valid credit report number...good luck
- No you do not need memberships to dispute credit by mail. You also do not need it if you do it online. Also when you dispute it with one agency you do not need to do it with any others.
- no you just need to get your credit report and any item you disagree with youput in dispute until it is corrected or left as it is depending on how the dispute goes.
- No, dispute anything you believe is not valid. Those who wish to argue will have a limited time to argue their case. If they fail to do so it will be taken off your credit report.
- Go to annualcreditreport.com to get a copy of your credit reports free WITHOUT entering a credit card number. This is all you need to dispute.
- Bad credit is one of the worst problems to have... however there exists a solution. I will hereby talk from my personal experience. I did debt consolidation a couple of years ago, however If I had to do it again I would pay to some minor details, if someone wants to get out of debt today it is pretty easy with a debt consolidation plan, however it may get a bit tricky at times, I suggest you get as much information as possible online on this first, a good place to start in my humble opinion is astraight to the point ebook with question and answer I found : http://umgarticles.atspace.com/debt-consolidation.htm if it helps kindly remember me in your voting!.. cheers!
