suppressed pending credit grantor update?
can anyone tell me what this means? i disputed some things on my credit report that i know are wrong..transunion sent me a credit report about a month and a half and one of the items i disputed says " the following item is suppressed pending credit grantor update" i can not find anything that can explain this please help if you can. thank you teresa

- Boy that's funny. "Suppressed" implies that it is being withheld from your credit report, but the fact that it's there proves otherwise, doesn't it? Time to talk to a live human at the credit bureau. Nothing in the Fair Credit Reporting Act about suppressing items. You either verify it or delete it. Or....as I recall creditors can request a little additional time to investigate a claim...maybe this is how they word it to show the time extension?
