How long does Truecredit take for disputed item to be updated?
on your credit report? I disputed 3 things from Transunion and I got a notice they were deleted and recieved my free copy of my credit report online with them. I am also a member of Truecredit.com and its not updated on their website yet.....How long does it usually take???

- They are quick to post negative stuff reported on you, ( they make their money off the businesses). You are only you, so they may not post it until you demand they do. Send them a registered letter, with a copy of the correction, and ask when they will post the correction so you won't have to take further action.
- You need to do an update with them. It is on the side bar when your reviewing your credit report.
- Did you dispute it and have it removed from all 3 bureaus? You need to have it removed from all 3 to have it updated on Trucredit's website.
- It depends. It can take up to 90 days depending on when the company updates accounts with credit reporting agencies. Maybe your request just missed their deadline. Also, one very important thing to understand is that just b/c you dispute a line of credit on your report, does NOT mean that it will be removed. The account will merely show a dispute status until the debt can be verified by the creditor. Unless you have specific documentation that the account will be DELETED, do not assume that b/c you dispute the debt it will be removed. That's not how credit reporting works. I'm not familiar with Truecredit.com, but I don't think it's one of the main 3 credit reporting agencies (Experian, Equifax and TransUnion). The appearance of the change to your line of credit will only show to the agencies that the creditor reports to.
