reporting for each agency?
I have chosen to dispute items on my equifax credit report directly with Equifax using the "Online Dispute". Once these items are fixed, what is the recommended way to remove the bad information from Experian, and TransUnion? Any good or bad information on using the online dispute vs. doing it through snail mail. Seems this way Equifax is sending all the letters for me?

- go to www.annualcreditreport.com and get all 3 - it doesn't matter how you dispute it the company has 30 days to respond or it comes off
- Any time you dispute with one of the credit reporting agencies, you should contact the other 2 as well. When you dispute with Equifax, they can only update items on the Equifax file, but by them sending a dispute to the creditors who report the inaccurate information, the creditor SHOULD contact all three bureaus. The only drawback to using the online dispute form is that you are limited in the information you provide, whereas if you speak to a telephone representative, you can explain, and the rep can often help you with the credit file information.
- If you Dispute you must send a letter of Dispute to all Major credit companies. Equifax, Experian & Transunion.
