When you initially join they do give you a free credit report and you get like the next months report free...You have to put in your credit card info so that IF you deicide to keep the service they can bill you each month but just find out the terms and cancel before they add you to regular billing. Also, pulling your credit report too oftern will also hurt your credit and reflect a bad score. SO make sure you pick a reputable website that gives you the companies names and contact info so if there are discrepancies you can contact the companies.
