- I would say 600 and up
- 600 is NOT above average-- this is "fair to poor" range. 678 is supposedly the national average--But i've seen some diagrams that show 660 as better than exactly "50% of Americans". So...within that range. Over 710 is usually considered a shoe-in for any and all loans, in most circumstances.
- Everything that is above 650 is above average.
- In many cases, they would say you need at least 700.
- To Give you an idea. This is usually how lenders determine creditworthiness. The higher the score, the lower the interest rate. 901-990 A above avg 801-900 B 701-800 C 601-700 D 501-600 F
