Is a Credit score of 730 considered fair, good or excellent credit?
I know that applying for and getting rejected for a credit card will lower your score so Im hesitant to apply for a card that requires "excellent credit" Where does a 730 stand? How are my chances for excellent or good credit card requirements?

- EXCELLENT
- 820 is excellent so it just depends on how you look at it.
- I think 730 is pretty dayum good!
- Very very good, I knew a girl who had that and she got approved for a house at 19!
- 730 is good credit. Usually excellent credit means 750 or above.
- That is an good credit score. Just be careful applying for credit because too many credit cards can lower your score also. Always keep the card BELOW thirds the limit! You would not be denied by any bank. Though you have to take your debt to income ratio into consideration also.
- It's low average. You'll probably get approved unless you have collections or judgements on file.
- id give my rt arm for 730
- fico at 730 is a excellent credit.... you will get a card with good interest rate... go with known banks...
- Although lenders use your FICO credit score in deciding whether you should be granted credit and at what interest rate, there are other factors that lenders use, such as your level of education, income, and particularly, amount of debt when deciding whether or not to approve your loan. The table below should give you a fairly good idea of how your credit rates. Generally accepted FICO credit score ratings: 750 - 850 Excellent 660 - 749 Good 620 - 659 Fair 350 - 619 Poor
