- I don't know exactly what's in their program, but there is a lot of free advice out there that actually works. You might have to look around a bit, though.
- Yea, i signed up for the program. Its not through adviceontime.com but its through a legit law firm. The firm is really nice and they work quick. I like them.
- Yes. It has been a Best selling Credit Repair guide for many years. The Federal government's FTC website says "Credit Repair...Self Help May be best". the Credit Secrets Bible shows you how to fix your own credit for a fraction that the so called "pros" do. It is a good resource to rebuild and repair bad credit. They also have a money back guarantee. You can't beat that these days. You don't need to spend a lot to repair bad credit. If you learn how, you can do a better job yourself. After all, who cares more about your bad credit problems than you?
- Be very wary of companies claiming to "Repair" your credit. I used to work for a credit and debt management company which allowed me to understand how credit works. I used to work for a credit and debt management company which allowed me to understand how credit works. By law, information stays on your credit report for up to seven years and 10 years if you filed bankruptcy. Negative information can only be removed by the cooperation of your creditors, and this usually involves paying all or some of the debt. To fool people into thinking their credit is repaired, “Credit Repair” companies will dispute your credit so that it will not appear on your credit report for 30 days. But after the 30 days is up the delinquent accounts return. They continue the process for a while after you pay them so it looks like your credit is being repaired but in actuality your accounts are only being disputed until the companies no longer feel it’s necessary to continue disputing and two months down the line you’re getting harassing phone calls again from your credit card companies and you’re wondering why. So please don’t be fooled into paying your money to these companies that promise to repair your credit, like I said I used to work for one. Instead go to the Better Business Bureau’s web site at www.bbb.org or call them to get a rating on “The Credit Bible” to see if they are legitimate.
