- time and paying the bills
- i have found getting a small secured loan or credit card through a reputable company that reports timely payments to the credit services worked for me. of course, making a good faith effort to clear up any past due balances also helps.
- Having helped several people repair credit after bankruptcy and multiple tax liens, I am sure that I could help answer your question... had you asked one.
- In very simple terms Credit means paying your bills on time. Hence the first step towards credit repair would be to start paying all your bills on time, especially the secured debts for ex. mortgage, if you have any. In addition to that, just request a copy of your credit report form any of the credit bureaus it's available free of cost. Go through it and pay off all the small bills/charge-offs/collection a/c's you have. It will help you to bring your credit up very rapidly. And after that just keep minimum number of bills and pay them on time. And need not spend money behind Credit Repair Agency if the situation is not very worse. Good Luck!!
- Are you asking what is credit repair? Let me start by saying, although credit repair is one of the services that I offer, if you have the time and patience, you can do it yourself. First, get a copy of your credit reports by going to annualcreditreport.com. You are allowed one free credit report from the three major bureaus, per year. Review your personal info. Check the spelling of names, verify address info., etc. Next review the info. listed regarding your creditors. Are the creditor names accurate? Are the dates for charge-offs, etc. accurate. Do accounts which should reflect paid-as-agreed reflect otherwise? If you find errors, each bureau will give you instructions on how to correct the errors. The most important thing to remember is that only the credit bureaus can remove erroneous info. from your credit file report.
