  3. You should really avoid credit repair agencies at all costs. Most of them are promising things that are too good to be true, and end up costing you large sums of money. There aren't any quick fixes to a credit report, that are legal and or permanent. Your best bet is to start by finding out exactly what is on your credit report, by pulling your credit reports, and clearing up as much of the debt as possible. You need to make sure that everything on the report is as accurate as possible. Make sure that from this point on, all of your payments are all on time, and at least the minimum payments.
