21. I feel ur pain... my credit is so bad rite now. But if u have any outstanding debts, that u can afford to pay rite now, pay them & ask to get a rapid re-score. Also, some companies, like Capital One don't report ur credit limit, call them & ask them to start reporting it to the 3 credit bureaus, in addition to ur highest balance on the card. Get a copy of ur report & make sure there are no mistakes on it, if u can, call ur credit companies & ask them if they'll raise ur limits. B/c a higher credit limit can boost ur credit to debt ratio & make it lower & you'll appear better to lenders.
