What is the quickest and most effective way to raise your credit score?

1. take out a small bank loan and repay it quickly!
2. Pay your credit cards and loans down every month, on time, and if carrying a large balance... put pay over the minimum balance.
3. The quickest way to to pay down as much as your debt as possible and make sure you are current on all of your lines of credit.
4. 1) Consolidate your debt 2) Pay any late fees so your no longer in arrears 3) Pay on time (this one is important) 4) Pay more than the minimum
5. Have some one with really good trade lines (credit cards specifically) to have them put you on there account. Make sure they report to all 3 credit bureaus. If you can, find someone that has been with their credit card company for many years, has never had a late payment and maintains below 35% of their maximun credit line. I have seen people do this many times and cannot believe the results sometimes. It doesn't happen over night, give it 6 months. Also, obviously make sure you pay your bills on time as well
6. Don't make any credit inquiries until you need it. Fully pay off all your credit cards/loans. Continue paying your bills on time
