
U.S. credit history follow you to Canda?
I am moving to canada and i want to know if my credit history will follow me there. i have good credit and i want to know if by any chance i miss a payment will i be followed to Canada? is credt international or not? Can anyone help me?

- Depends on the agreement between country's. With Canada it is more or less treated as if your going to another state. So in your case YES it will fallow you.

Despite this, financial institutions may be willing to recognize your earlier credit history outside of a country if you ask them to do so. This may involve, for example, requesting a copy of your credit report from the credit-reporting agency in the other country and sitting down with a branch officer to discuss your credit or loan application.
