What is the average credit score of a college student?

1. There is no average, really. Some don't have any, some have good (+600) some have bad (-600) and some are bankrupt. Most people who go bankrupt these days are 23-28 years old!
2. you can't build up credit if you don't have a credit card, which a lot of college students probably don't have. you can't really ask what the average is, because level of responsibility differs among every student. a student that uses it a lot but pays it off every month will have great credit (high 700's probably). but if a student is careless and never pays off the credit card bills, their credit score will tank right from the get-go (down in the 4-500's).
