I used to have a high credit score, How can I raise my score back up again? My Score went from 750 to 350.?
I don't know what made my score go down, I was thinking maybe it's because I used my credit card almost to the max balance. But I never have had a late payment on any of my bills. So Please does anyone have any advice to help raise my credit score back? How long does it take to get your score high again?

- Have you obtained your credit reports from all three bureaus and checked them for accuracy? If not, go to www.annualcreditreport.com and do so. Maybe they contain inaccurate info.
- If your score dropped from 750 to 350, there are a LOT of negative items on your credit report. Do you realize that 350 is the lowest possible FICO score? Maxing out your existing cards could not possibly affect your score anywhere near that much, especially if you have not had any late payments. I urge you to go to annualcreditreport.com and pull copies of the three credit reports (Experian, Transunion and Equifax). Look carefully to see if there are items which do not belong on your report. Something is terribly wrong if you had a score of 750 which is now 350 and have no idea what could have happened. People with scores in the 350 range would typically have many accounts which have not been paid in months, accounts sent to collection agencies, bankruptcy, court judgments, etc. Another possibility - are you SURE your score is 350? Did you get it directly from myfico.com or another source which provides actual FICO scores?
- It is NOT possible to go from a 750 to 350 just by maxxing out your credit cards if you really have been paying on time! Go to the website below and read ALL of it! There in the credit monitoring section you will find a text link to Equifax sponsor who is offering a 3 in 1 credit watch and monitor service. You are going to need this and it's pretty inexpensive! this is better than a one time "free" credit report because those are only "free" if you sign up for something else! Has yopur identity been stolen? Do you even know? You need to find out these things now because you could be in real trouble and not even know it. The first thing you need is this website and the second is an ongoing credit monitor service, like the one form Equifax! ID theft is the fasteset growing crime in the country and it happened to me!! I used this site and my credit score went from 480 to 709 in one year with the help of this website and they have great sponsored links! I learned a lot about ID theft!! YOU DON'T WANT TO!
- Get a copy of your credit report asap. There is something terribly wrong. A score doesn't get any lower than 350. There is either a mistake and the score is somebody elses, someone may be using credit in your name, somebody elses credit is ending up on yours. Maybe it's a scam where somebody wants you to pay for a credit monitoring service and has instilled deep fear in you by telling you this. Anyway, get a copy of your credit report and see what's on it and pay for the fico also just to see what it really is.
- It sounds to me like you need to repair your credit. In order to improve your credit score, you need to both eliminate negative information as well as establish positive credit history.
