What is the average credit score needed to rent an apartment in GA?
Public Comments
- Depends on the apartment, price and area. Something in Dunwoody, probably about 500 - Acworth 400 and Buckhead about 550. Try to reask your question with an area in mind.
- Typically Landlords are not credit score driven. They are looking for certain items and will "score" your application differently. They are looking to see if you have evictions, judgments(for not paying rent), late payments, etc. They will allow a couple of negative items only before they deny you. Landlords are also looking to see that your Monthly Gross Income is at least 3xrent.
