Credit Score?
Is there a site to find you general credit score online, not just credit on a single card?

- experian.com is really good
- I do not know of a free credit score site, just your credit reports. For credit reports go to annualcreditreport.com. For credit score, you can sign up for a trial credit profile at various sites, and cancel before you get charged if you don't want to continue the service beyond the trial period. I have used myfico.com in the past.
- Equifax https://www.econsumer.equifax.ca/ca/main?link=OPIEM&lang=en Tran Union WWW.transunion.ca
- try http://wwww.truecredit.com
- Under the Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), you are entitled to obtain a copy of your consumer credit report from any consumer credit reporting agency for a reasonable charge. The FCRA also states that you are entitled to receive a disclosure directly from the consumer credit reporting agency free of charge if: * You certify in writing that you are unemployed and intend to apply for employment within 60 days or ; * You are receiving public welfare assistance, or; * You have reason to believe your consumer file contains inaccurate information due to fraud, or * You have been denied credit, insurance, or employment within the past 60 days. If you are a resident of Colorado, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, or Vermont, you may receive a free copy of your consumer credit report once each year, and if you are a resident of Georgia, twice a year. You can check out all three major bureaus on line. Experian, Equifax, and Trans Union. It is good to get a copy from all three because there are some things that report with one agency that do not report with the other.
