Which is better Fico or the new Vantage Score?
I was thinking about purchasing either the Vantage Score or the Fico Score. Some so called experts say the Vantage score is a joke and say do not waste your money. I want others opinion.

- Vantage is not widely used yet and the results differ greatly from FICO. In fact, it seems, among other things, that it penalizes a person if they are not a home owner with an existing, open mortgage. If you are just wanting to know your scores, I would suggest going with FICO. If you know what your FICO is already and just want to compare, spend the $5.95 and get the Vantage.
- FICO is the most widely used standard. You might want the Vantage if your potential lender uses it, but otherwise, stick with FICO.
