Do you have any credit cards? If you do, please try and see a program on ITV.One - 4th May Friday @ 8.00pm called Fraud Frenzy: As credit-card fraud is on the increase etc...Please be kind enough to post your answers after you have seen the above programme. Thanks.

  4. Thanks for the advice... However... I strongly suggest you should, if you hold a credit card, get rid of it. Unless you can operate smartly and therefore never have one that you are paying interest on, pay the bugger off by any means possible. Even the interest on a personal loan is better than the interest on the cheapest credit card. And if you don't think my word is good enough for it, when the Chief Executive of Barclaycard was asked if he had one he flatly said no because he wouldn't carry anything that offered such a bad deal to him. I got shot of mine, fortunately when it had less than thirty pounds on it, when Capital One raised their rate for puchases on it to 31%! Now not all card providers are as bad as that, but that's my experience.
