
Is 710 a good credit score and what does it mean?
I dont know much about credit scores. If my credit score is 710 do I have good chanes of getting a loan or another credit card?

- yes thats a very good score highest you can have is a 750 (and no one has that) as long as your debt to income isnt off you should have no problem getting a loan and who cant get another credit card
- 710 is a good credit score. The average in the US is 678. Chances are you have no late payments in your report. As long as you keep it up in the long run, you shouldn't have a problem getting a small loan or credit card. 750 is not the highest score. I know people with scores in the high 700's. It can reach over the 800 mark (which is rare).
- Again people, you all are only giving partial answers. The correct answer to this question is "it depends." 710 is considered "good" on most credit reporting matrixes but not all. There are numerous models of score. Auto finance enhanced, mortgage, general, etc. On most bureaus the highest score is anywhere from 850 to 900. Anything above a 740 in most scoring matrixes is excellent.
