- 700+ is good.
- Just type credit score in yahoo search and it will tell you everything you need to know.
- 650 or above
- well mine is like 680. and i think thats a good score. anything above 700 is great. and anything between like like 520 and 650 is average.anything below 500 is not good.
- Any score over 680 is average, over 720 is a good one, 800 is a max
- 500-675 is consider average.
- If your credit score is above 650 you will probably qualify for a standard loan. Under 650, you may have trouble receiving new credit. Go down to the heading that says "Economics": https://www.creditprofile.transunion.ca/learningCentre/creditScores/creditScoring.jsp
- 680+ is a good score. After 720+ financing gets a lot easier, and less documentation.
- According to credit reporting agency Experian, the average credit score nationally is 676. That can vary tremedously depending upon where you live however. For example, the goof people of Minneapolis are quite credit savy and have a 705 average credit score, while those in Houston still haven't quite got the hang of the whole credit thing. Houstontonians ony get a 650 average. You should be aiming for a 720 FICO score at the very least. That will get you on the good side of most lenders. You should know however, that going even higher will get you better interest rates on credit cards and major purchases. If you're looking for a mortgage the savings can really ad up over the life of the loan. As of last week, the notional average mortgage interest for a borrower with a credit score of between 760 and 850 was 6.274%, while someone with a score of between 700 and 759 would be paying 6.496%. That would mean a savings of over $8,000 over the life of a $150,000, 30 year fixed rate mortgage.
- Credit scores range from 350-850, while the average score is between 600 and 750. A good credit score is anything that is above 650, while a moderately good score is between 620 and 650 and a bad score is anything lower then 620. You should check your credit report and your credit score and see where you stand in these ranges.
