Besides, paying the bills....

- That's about it. Pay your bills on time every time and be patient. Don't abuse credit. Don't get in over your head.
- Besides paying timely monthly payments, you would want to consider keep your balance to high credit ratios below 50% and don't close paid off accounts, keep them -0- balance, but open. Dont take on a lot of new credit accounts. I provided a website for the Fair Credit Reporting Act that offers additional information about your rights as a consumer. Hope it helps.
- That's pretty much it, make sure you pay your bills. Dont have to many credit accounts. Your debt to income ratio needs to be good. If you have a credit card keep the balance low enough where you can pay it off each month. With that your credit should improve pretty fast.
- Get yourself one of those Visa Credit cards and make sure you pay the payments for what ever you can charge. or go out and buy yourself a used car and make sure you make the payments ontime until you pay it off.
- Get 2 credit cards and use them for everyday things like gas and food being careful never to exceed 30% of your credit limit in any given month and pay them off in full before the due date. This will do two things, first it will establish a pay history and second it will keep your debt to credit ratio low. These two things alone make up 65% of your credit score. Dont worry about having a balance, the lag time between the billing date and the due date will give the credit card companies something to report even if it's only a few dollars and you will not be paying interest on it. I have done this myself for the last 2 years and raised my score over 150-points. The other thing you can do is go to www.ConsumerAction.gov and get a free copy of the 2007 edition of the Consumer Action Handbook and learn how credit works and what your rights are.
- If you have a house mortgage in California my company could refinance your property and within 60 days get you a credit score of 720. email ttiraturyan@yahoo.com if interested
