  1. I think perhaps you're referring to a secured credit card, where you deposit money in a savings account to cover the credit limit on the card. This can be a good way to build your credit score if it is low, but there are some potential problems you need to watch out for. First, read this list of 10 questions about secured cards from a reliable source, Bankrate.com - http://www.bankrate.com/brm/news/cc/19990823.asp Then you can use their service to compare various options - http://www.bankrate.com/brm/rate/cc_ratehome.asp?web=brm&state=US&prodtype=cc&R1=1&card_type=Secured&card_class=All&max_recs=50 Good luck!
  2. What you are looking for is at www.instantcreditbuilders.com this is the site that sells you trade lines and will boost your score as soon as the bureaus update. It's not cheap, but there was a great article just the other day talking about how it works on Yahoo. If you choose to do this, you need to do it soon, the FTC is looking at making this illegal as we speak. Good luck.
  3. I can't believe some of these answers I am seeing!! You can't buy a credit score or buy anything that will boost your score. No offense, if the person above me has been a financial manager for 7+ years, he's not a very good one. No trustworthy person will tell you to look at a website that is in the process of being looked at by the FTC. Making your payments on time, keeping your balance-to-limit ratios under 50%, not making inquiries (not applying for things), and TIME, are the only things that will boost your score. Answers like you've been given are the reason why so many people are in debt and cannot improve themselves.
