- Well you can try to get a credit card.. that will do some. Make sure you pay all your current bills on time and not let any report to your credit. Trying to get a loan of some kind.. like a vehicle can help too. GL
- Apply for a Bad Credit Credit Card from someone like Orchard Bank or First National Bank, start building slowly there.
- I don't think there's much you can do about your credit in a chapter 13 until you get your discharge. I don't thin it's a good idea to get a new credit card without first consulting your bankruptcy attorney as you SHOULD be paying all of your disposable income into your plan.
- Get a secured card or an Orchard bank card. All those other cards Continental Finance, First Premier and the rest of the subprime cards will end up costing you a rediculous amount of money. Go to BofA or Wells Fargo to get your secured card. A car loan would help, just buy something that you can pay off fast. Maybe a year or two. You don't want to be locked in on a very high interest rate for 5 or 6 years. It is just going to take time just be patient.
