Aside from paying my bills, whats the fastest way to increase my credit score rapidly?

Looking for a way to boost credit score substantially within a year or two.

2. The fastest way, like the first poster eluded to would be to become an authorized user on a credit card of someone with excellent credit. The activity would reflect on your report once added, however this practice is currently under investigation, and after September, the scoring system will no longer allow this to happen
3. Buy some furniture by making on time payments through their bank, find one that has a no interest, no finance charge for one or two years. You can also try for a Sears card, get an appliance when they have their "no finance charge for a year" deals. If you apply at the same time you should get an additional 10 percent off your purchase. Pay it off in 12 equal payments. You will be boosting your credit score and the best thing is you won't be paying finance charges while you are doing it.
