- Get your report first. Make sure that everything is correct on it and if it is not dispute the items. Because if you have something incorrect and get a score based on that your score will be wrong. If you dispute it and they correct it they are only obligated to send you a new report and not a new score. Also when you do order your score it includes a report anyways so getting it with your free report is sort of a waste. If you really want to know what your score is, you can order if after you know your report is correct. I would also go with the FICO Score which you can get from http://www.myfico.com
- Just depends if you really want to know what your credit score is. You can also go to freecreditreport.com They give ya report and credit score but you need to cancel your enrollment in Triple Advantage with 30 days or you'll get charged.
- Usually, adding your credit score to your free report is just a few dollars more. But it is not really worth it. If your credit is good, your score will be high. If your credit is bad, it will be low. There are no errors in a credit score, it is directly effected by your credit report. If you are curious, get it... otherwise, you dont "need" it.
- If you are wanting to take out a loan or buying a car then you would want to know what your credit score is. It is important to know so you can get the best rates on loans. If you are just wanting to check your credit for errors etc. then just get the report.
- Actually just get the free credit report.. then when you're done you can get the free credit score from myfico with 30-day trial monitoring. You'll find the promo link on page 2 of the article here that tells you how to improve your credit score: Good luck! http://millionster.com/articles/debt/increase-fico-credit-score/
