  1. You can access all dept of motor vehicles threw the Internet, just type in the state such as nydeptofmotorvechicles and you will be able to read there state requirements.
  2. Click the link below to the US DOT.
  3. I would go direct the the US DOT. They would have all the rules and regs by state.
  4. your gonna have ta do the leg work... state by state. DOT would have info. for semi's.
  5. Under the FMCR's Federal Motorcarrier Regulations Regardless of type of vehicle you are driving if you pull two trailers commercial or not you must have a doubles endorsment on your liscense. I currently know that there are two states that will allow it and I believe they are Montana and Michigan but you need to be awhere that not all states allow pulling double recreational trailers it in fact there are very few that do. In Washington you will recive up to a $10,000 Fine and all vehicles impounded California You are arested on the spot and loose your liscence and have a felony traffic conviction placed on your record for 10 years not to mention your vehicles are impounded for 90 days I do not recomend any one attempting it unless you have been through CDL Training and have recived your CDL I am a truck driver of 17 years and have seen to many sirous accidents involving the general public attempting to do what trained proffesinols do (Pulling Doubles) Michigan http://www.michigan.gov/sos/0,1607,7-127--25410--,00.html
