- YES IT IS POSSIBLE, IT DOES HELP FOR BETTER INTEREST RATES ON A CAR OR HOME.
- Yes! just stay up to date on any payments you may have and open up credit cards if you don't already have one and make more then the minumium payment on it to improve it. It does help in many ways, for example if you lease a car , if you have good credit your payments would be cheaper then someone with a bad credit.
- It is definitely possible to repair your credit score. All you need is time and patience. I tell my clients all the time that they have the capability of repairing their own credit. Although I perform credit restoration everyday, there's is nothing that I do for you that you can not do for yourself. Sometimes all it takes is writing a simple letter. You have to keep on it though. You have to commit to repairing or restoring your credit. It is a constant process. That's when most people give up and come to me. By the time they call me, they have been dealing with the same old same old for months and some of them ripped off by the not so ethical credit repair agencies. The only difference between you and me is that I have the time and this is all I do. But if you make the time, you can accomplish the same thing. As a side note, if you ever decide on credit repair go to http://ftc.gov and read up on the Credit Repair Agencies Act. There are laws there that protect you from getting ripped off if you do ever decide to let someone handle the credit repair process for you. I hope this helps.
- Yes, you can repair your own credit with these basic steps: First, make sure all the information on your credit report is accurate. Second, try to pay off all or any accounts that are currently in collections or make payment arrangements with the creditor to pay off the balance monthly. Third, any credit card that is over 50% of the available credit line should be paid down to under half of your total credit line. Your credit score is lowered when your available balance is over 50% of your total credit line. Finally, if you have bad or no credit and have no credit cards try to obtain two credit cards and make sure all of your monthly payments are made on time. This will help increase your credit score. If you cannot be approved for a unsecured credit card, obtain a secured credit card.
