Are you or do you know anyone who inputs credit ratings?

Who are these people who input my personal information into the system for such companies as Experian, TransUnion, and Equifax. If you are one, what can I do to "fix" my credit issues.

  1. If you look closely, there are 3 sections to a credit bureau report. The first section identifies the individual and is input by you the first time you apply for credit. This information includes your name, first and last, home address, date of birth, social security (or national number) etc. Most of this never changes, or changes rarely. You input this, it comes from your first credit application. The next section comes from YOUR creditors. When you 'open' an account, they report on the activity and status of that account. In order to become a member of the bureau, creditors must agree to report all activity in a standardized format so other creditors will understand what is happening, or how you handle the account. There is no leeway here, it's very well defined. Creditors may not deviate. If they do, they will be denied access and reporting privileges. The 3rd section comes from various courts. Judgements, law suits filed, tax liens, etc. The credit bureaus have 'researchers' who gather and report. About 'FIXING" reports You cannot change or delete valid and current information. You may change or delete obsolete or inaccurate info, or info that is someone Else's, but you cannot just change info you don't like.
  2. I wanna know where one of these people are too. I'll have to watch this one. I could defiantly use a little "fix".
