How can we attempt to fix our credit ratings?? Seriously I need help on this one.. Bad credit...?

2. Go to www.daveramsey.com and follow Dave Ramsey's advice.
3. Pay your bills on time, and try to pay more than the minimum amount. Those are the 2 biggest things! Pay off as quickly as you can so you don't have a lot of outstanding balances. It looks good if your debt-to-income ratio is low. Sometimes consolidation is a good way to go, like equity loans. Talk to your bank. Also try to close any open credit accounts, eapecially ones with high interest rates. It's good to see on a credit report that the accounts were closed by the account holder and not the creditor due to non-payment. Some states offer free credit reports (www.equifax.com). Order a copy of yours and review it for duplicate entries and the status of your accounts and go from there!
