- I don't think it works like that. You get offers when you open new bank accounts....
- You dont need invites to get cards. If you were able to finance a building you will be able to get credit cards. Learn more and compare different cards here: http://www.expert-credit-advice.com/credit_card_expert.htm
- Sure can! Not all lenders report on a monthly basis. Some only report once a quarter. Since you purchased in August -- Then your first payment was probably not till Oct. It is just too soon to expect offers to come flooding in your mail box.
- Just go on line to Amex and submit an application. You will find out if you get approved quickly.
- Having a mortgage (especially a new one) on your credit report will not cause multiple creditors to suddenly start seeking you out for credit. Good credit history takes prompt payments and TIME. Do you have any other credit besides the mortgage? Another aspect lenders look at is the DEPTH and LENGTH of your credit history. If you are going to wait for an actual invitation from AMEX then it might be a while. The best option would be to just apply directly with them. Good Luck!
- Go to their website and apply. You don't have to be invited. Yes, owning a home will help your credit score. The extra income will also help it but that is going to take a while to show with rent. So you have a credit file, and if you have been paying your bills you can probably get credit. American Express is a little stricter than some of the others, so you may want to try a different card first if you don't have one. After a few months with it then apply.
- Just chill out if its meant for you to get an AMEX you will get one
- that's the reason why. creditors don't all ways have to report. you might try getting a secured credit card and go from there. it will show history and then other will join in. or be in my case and wish those people didn't send me all those offers every day.
