credit score?
How can I find out what my actual credit SCORE is.. like the number. I have looked on various websites but I cant seem to find one that will give me a numeric score.

- Try myfico.com You will have to pay, but you can get all three credit reports and scores. Otherwise, if you are looking to buy a house soon go to a mortgage broker, not a bank.
- The free credit reports that you can get one time a year do not have to give you a numerical score. You would have to pay their service fee in order to receive a score. There should be a button giving you a link to pay for and receive your score. Now, you would have to do this with all three of the major credit reporting agencies and then add all three scores together and divide by three to get your score. This score changes quite often depending on reporting factors and time of year.
- Usually this refers to FICO, also known as your Fair Isaac score. There are 3 credit bureau's that provide this score on you to legitimate enquirers. Go to www.annualcreditreport.com, and apply for free copies of your credit report from each agency. This will not give you your FICO, but they will offer to sell this to you. If you are planning a to take a loan, the company inquiring will often contact only one agency and use their FICO score. Your FICO can vary quite a bit from one to another. Large loans, and almost all mortgages, will pull all 3 and use the middle one.
