Which credit score is usually the highest?
I'm not sure if there is an answer to this, but I do remember reading somewhere that there seems to be a trend as to which credit bureau usually "gives" the highest credit score. Of course, I don't know how reliable that source was. Does anyone know if there is a tendency for one score (comparing scores from the 3 bureaus) to be higher than the others? Thanks in advance.

- ask a bank
- It all depends on which bureau reports what on your credit. I've seen that transunion doesnt report as much as experian, but every case is different.
- Finance is what I do for a living and there really is no best answer for this question. All three credit bureaus have their own way of calculating your score so each one will be different. All creditors do not report to all credit bureaus, so some will have information that others will not. There are three types of bureaus as follows; 1. Standard. This is the one you get on line. 2. Auto enhanced. This is the one that dealers and auto lenders see. 3. Factual. This is the one that mortgage companies see. So, it is possible for everyone to have up to nine different credit scores depending on which bureau and which type of credit you look at. Having said all of this, in my experience Transunion has the highest score on average for auto enhanced bureaus.
- I just got all three from experian and they all varied 629 669 696 in this order experian being the lowest, transunion the highest. they all had similar, but not the same info. i have asked a question on here myself, hoping to get an answer to similar issue.. good luck, Dan
- yes transunion is normally the highest.
