  1. If you see those two words together, most likely it's a scam.
  2. pay off debts will repair any rating.
  3. Whats the actual ? Many topics within the subject!
  4. like john mayer says, "no such thing"
  5. I got sick of credit cards and borrowing money and just stopped years ago. The interest just goes into the pockets of the rich who own these intitutions. If I cannot afford something I work over time and save. If I cannot afford to buy something out right, then I certainly will not afford it with interest, late fees and reinstatement fees attached. Also the items you desire immediately very likely will be the worthless junk piling up in your home in the future. Once bought, most items become worth only a buck at a yard sale. Shop yard sales if you need something.
  6. get out of the payday loans, they are the worst. Check out some websites like fico.com, or call around.
  7. Credit is very repairable. Start now by paying your bills on time consistently for 6 to 12 months. When you pay off a credit card, close it. When you keep credit cards open your score is impacted negatively because it is still credit available to you. Take one step at a time, you Will see the difference in one year.
  8. Here are links to free services from the FTC on how to repair your credit. http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/consumer/credit/cre03.shtm#improve Building a better credit report. http://www.ftc.gov/gettingcredit/ What you need to know about your credit. http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/conline/pubs/credit/crdright.shtm Credit and your consumer rights. http://www.budhibbs.com/drowning_in_debt.htm hope this helps.
  9. Don't listen to the person who told you to close a paid off credit account. That actually can hurt your credit, one factor in getting a score is the balances vs. available credit. If you close an account that has a zero balance your % of available credit goes down as will your score. This is the biggest myth in credit scoring system. Don't close accounts.
  10. good day, Im sorry to hear about your situation, everybody goes through all that mess anyway...heres a good credit assistance I recommend to you, they're for free no worries. You can find more info here: http://www.safelinked.info/jump.php?link=debt Best of luck.
