Does anyone out there know if CreditReport.com is a trust worthy and legitimate sight?
There address on their sight says they are located in Canoga Park Ca. They say the first 30 days of you're credit report from Equfax with credit score and monitoring of the three major credit bureaus for alerts on you're credit reports is free. Then after the 30 days it says it will be 11.95 a month charged to you're credit card. Would it be wiser to get it directly from equifax then to use CreditReport.com?

- It's a legitimate site, but there are better ones. TrueCredit.com and MyCreditKeeper are better in my opinion. But, are you aware that except for MyFICO.com, all of these sites give you FAKO scores? FAKO scores are not real FICO scores and are not used by anyone. FICO scores are what all the banks use. So, if you want the scores that the banks see, go to MyFICO.com (it's more expensive.)
- I prefer Credit Monitoring by Citi Bank. They offer first month free and $12.95 a month after that. They also offer -Credit monitoring every business day -Alerts against possible fraud or theft -Personalized credit report -Credit score and analysis -ID Theft Expense Reimbursement Coverage -Upgrades to 3-in-1 credit reports with 3 credit scores at no additional cost. -Credit Education Specialists to answer questions about your reports and member benefits -Fraud Specialists to personally assist you with identity fraud issues The fact that they provide info from all three bureaus at no additional cost is the best part. The credit analyzer is also great. You use it to generate how your score will be affected based on what you do(ie open a new account, add an inquiry, pay something off, miss a payment, etc)
