How can you check your credit score once a year?
I understand you go to Transunion because they have 3 in 1 I'm willing to pay for that. But when I go to the website it says 14.95 a month no contract. so I take it they want me to sign up but if I want to cancel I can. And if you sign up for the monthly, does that mean it automatically checks your credit every month, meaning the your 1 time check is already pulled. And the 2nd or 3rd will impact your credit score?

- annualcreditreport.com you are allowed to get 1 free report per year from each of the 3 bureaus. Pull one every 4 months and make sure that nothing unexpected is on there, pay your bills on time and your credit score will take care of itself
- You can check your credit score once a year for a small fee. You also can check your report once a year for free. If you check your own report, it has no impact on your credit score. If you see nothing unusual in your credit cards, then you don't need to check more than once a year. Of course, if you think that someone may have applied for an account using your personal information, then that is another matter.
