Are Credit Repair Services like RMCN legal and legitimate?
I have recently contacted RMCN to help me get some false information off my credit report. Does anyone have any experience with RMCN or similar credit repair services they would share (positive or negative)?

- You need to dispute this directly with the credit bureaus...you don't need to pay anyone to do this for you....If the credit bureaus refuse to remove inaccurate negative info, threaten to sue them for Fair Credit Reporting Act violations.
- It is a legal process and many people utilize Credit Restoration services because they don't want to do the process on their own. However, make sure they will do the service and that they are not over charging for the service. I work for a company that offers the service along with credit education...and the services are not expensive. If you would like a quote...let me know. I hate to hear about people paying extremely large amounts...heard of a gentleman paying 800 for service which is crazy. And yes, you can do it on your own as well. Many people just don't want to deal with it because it can be tedious and time consuming, but you will save money by doing it on your own.
