- visit daveramsey.com to learn ur hard lessons from others mistakes. why not buy cash car and invest the interest. u'll make u wealther , not stockholders.
- there are over 1,700 items that go into your credit score so - keep a steady job do not apply for credit everywhere you go - looks 'desperate' do not have existing credit maxed out - i.e. 'at limit' pay all bills on time pay off as much as you can - or pay it down as much as you can have a great 2008!
- The most important thing is to pay all of your bills on time. Also, something I've found useful is a book by Suze Orman call "Young, Fabulous and Broke." It deal with credit rating and how to help achive a better score. Also has good finacial advice for those of us who don't know much about the financial lingo and what we should do.
- pull your credit report and start paying on all charged off and old accounts.
