- Disputing your credit score and credit report are the same thing. Your report is what makes your score. You have to change your report in order to change your score...and it only takes 30 days. - I don't think it is possible to dispute just the score because everything on the report formulates the score. I think you have to dispute items in the report to change your score.
- In credit scoring, only FICO scores matter for the most part. How credit scoring works is that when you get a report it is run through a scoring algorithm and you get your score based on items in the credit report. Without you having the credit report, you cannot have a score. So there is no way to dispute the score.
- You can't dispute your score. Your score is based on what is in your credit report at the time it is pulled.
