  1. Why do you need three ?
  2. They're not bad for you if you pay them off right away; that builds good credit. If you use one credit card to pay off another, that's definitely bad. You should consider getting rid of at least one of them.
  3. yes unless you pay them off within two months
  4. Yes debt is bad bad bad and again bad! Read a book called "The Richest Man In Babylon"
  5. nope - good credit cards have rebuilt my credit score.. as long as you don't go over or out of control and do not have a big spending limit.. thats why i got in trouble in the past
  6. credit cards are not bad as long as u don't have a balance on them. Don't get carried away with them as they can be very dangerous!!!
  7. Credit cards can get you into financial trouble very fast. If you are paying the balances off monthly, then no, they won't get you into trouble.
  8. credit cards are not bad as long as you don't over spend
  9. I have applied for cards before and was turned down, because I had to many accounts...
  10. No, credit cards are fine as long as you intend to pay them off. It's always good to pay off the full balance to just alleviate your debt quickly because your credit card company will screw you over with there interest rates if you get faulty with your payments. Just make sure you can pay off the balances (and I'm not talking about the minimum balance the company says you can pay, THE FULL BALANCE) and you will be fine whether you own 1 or 100 credit cards...but who would need that many?
  11. Credit cards can DESTROY you if you are not responsible with them. Dont' go buying something you can't afford JUST because you WANT it......we aren't supposed to get things just because we WANT them -- we get things because we NEED them........ I've gone through hell because of credit issues -- Trust me (and a LOT of people)
  12. Credit cards can build your credit fast but you can also get yourself into alot of trouble with them.... Depends on your spending habits... It is good to have at least one major credit card on you credit history up to date no lateness's and not maxed out... maxing out credit cards will lower you credit score... the higher your credit score is means you can get better interest rates...
  13. Credit cards are actually GOOD to have; it's the irresponsible use of them that causes problems. Most people these days need to finance a house, car, furniture; SOMETHING! If you have a credit card, and make regular and on-time monthly payments according to the agreement you originally had with the company, you'll receive a decent credit rating. However, irresponsible use and non-payment of the same cards is when you start to have credit problems. The more cards you carry, the more tempted you'll be to max out one, then move on to maxing out the next and so on. Is there a reason for three cards? If you can, I'd suggest cancelling 2 of the three and making a ceremony of cutting them up. Short answer to your question. They're good for your credit if you use them responsibly.
  14. Yes, if you don't pay off the balance monthly, or at least a significant chunk of it. Nowadays, you can see your interest rate jump to 30% with one missed payment.
