average credit score or lowest to get into an apartment?

If you have no history of living in an apartment, what is the lowest or minimum credit score required?

1. There really isn't a set score. I just found someone a home to rent with a 498 credit score because I was able to explain that bad things can happen to good people. 2. WELL TO BE HONEST SOME REAL ESTATE WANT PEOPLE WITH GOOD CREDIT BUT IF YOU HAVE NONE LOT OF TIMES THEY WILL GIVE YOU A CHANCE IT'S ALSO GOOD TO HAVE REFERENCES WITH PEOPLE JUST SAYING HOW MUCH OF A RESPONSIBLE PERSON YOU ARE IF YOU WORK HAVE YOUR BOSS WRITE SOMETHING
3. When I rented my first apartment, I had no credit history. But I did have a good job and I paid a double deposit (which I got back in full when I moved out) Most cities have a pretty high rental vacancy rate these days, so I'm sure you'll find something!
