How can we get the money we need if we have bad credit?
My husband and I are in the process of paying off a lot of medical and credit card bills in order to bring our credit scores back up. We also have a loan from my parents that we are trying to pay back. We have been working on this for a couple of years now. We just had our third child and I am doing day care in our home. We are in a small 3 bedroom house and we are in need of a bigger house. Because our credit is bad, we can't get a loan for a new house. We also need to get caught up on our bills so we can afford to finish fixing our house so we would be able to sell it. How can we get a loan to pay off our bills and have some extra to fix our house if we have bad credit? We need a way to get the money and not have to pay it back or have low monthly payments. We really need help. I just did an online assessment of our finances. I compared our monthly income to our expenses and it showed we should be coming out with an extra $100 a month.

- You have very clearly explained here that you cannot AFFORD to own more house, you can't really afford the amount of house you already have! While "bad credit" often does happen to "good people", it doesn't happen to people who plan. Medical bills are only a problem for those who did not have sufficient medical insurance. Credit card bills only happen to people who spend money BEFORE they have earned it instead of AFTER they have earned it. I do not intend to be "mean" by saying these things, just to point out the obvious that you may not have noticed! You don't need a loan, you cannot fix debts by borrowing money, just as you cannot save a drowning person by throwing water at them! Go to the library and read (for FREE!) one of Dave Ramsey's books on debt and how to get out of it with paying someone! Make a workable plan. And stick to it...
- consider bankruptcy, your allowed to keep, 125,000 in equity inyour house if you do that. also you will only have to pay back 30% of what you owe, unless you made less than 27,000 last year, otherwise it is $0 that you have to pay
