- Yes you are starting off good. They best thing to do is make sure you keep building your credt. 2 credit cards...not maxed out all the time, and a car loan. But you HAVE to be able to make the monthly payments do not take on more than you can handle. Congrats on the score, and keep it clean!
- it depends on what generated the score, a store card with a low balance for 3 months paid on time would generate that score but u r not getting a mortgage with it. what u want is 3 major accounts paid on time over a period of 12-18 months, major credit cards, auto payments, etc. u want to know the middle score of the 3 credit bureaus, and that is the true score. its a good start but work on getting major accounts, by a shirt, bra, etc. bill comes in pay it on time as it comes in before the due date. do this often, and keep it going for 12-18 months and then u will have a score that will help u get the best rates for a car payment or a home gl
- It's not bad at all. Just be responsible with your credit. Your financial and employment life depend on it! The links below have more information.
- You may not have seen you real FICO score -- there are other score scales and simulations and estimates out there. I'm skeptical you really have a score that high per FICO (since history and aging of accounts is an important influence), but bully for you if you do. A real 719 is good and just a hair from qualifying for all the best rates etc.
- A score of 719 is good. At the age of 19, you're in much better shape than some individuals that are twice your age. Here's one of many links that will help keep you on the right track while also helping you achieve an even higher score.
