how many points will my credit score increase if...?

i have a key derogetory collection mark removed from my report?

1. Usually not enough to make a difference. Around 10 or less. Unless it was there by mistake, it will show closed etc. but not remove from your report. If that is the case, your score will not change at all.
2. If you truly have it removed which requires a pay for delete agreement and it's less then 2-years old it will make a major difference in your score.
