Credit score at freecreditreport.com is 717 Bad or good?
I had a credit score of 717 on freecreditreport.com I am 21 yrs old and dont know anything about this stuff. is 717 good or bad. I have paid some bills late but have been mostly on time. Thanks for your help.

- I believe that is considered fair. You have to be in the 800's to be considered good.
- the scale for credit is between 350 and 850 your score is good but not perfect. To be what they consider "tier one" (that is when they will grant credit no matter what or at the best rate) you should be at 730. you are close keep paying on time and extending credit and you'll be there in no time.
- Its good but freecreditreport.com is bad. If you wanted to check your credit report you should go to annualcreditreport.com If you wanted to pay $10 a month to see a a flashy score be my guest.
