can someone please tell me a real credit repair company ,and how do o know if there real are fake ? i'm trying to repair my credit so i can buy my first home.

- Most credit repair companies are fraud. I suggest paying back all the debts, if it's too much (over 20000) I suggest file for bankruptcy. You're not going to be able to buy a house or get any credit what so ever if you file for bankruptcy, but you get to start clean after 7 years. I you decide to pay off your credit cards and buy a house expect very high interest. I suggest getting a co-signer or buy the house under someone else's name.
- There isn't really any "credit repair" except what you can do yourself to show lending agencies that you're a responsible person... - Pay your debts on time - If you're behind, contact the company to explain. Show good faith and a willingness to work with them and they MAY help you devise a schedule that will work for you - Don't have too many open lines of credit. Close cards you don't need - Don't apply for additional cards unless absolutely necessary. Each application is a bad sign, because if another bank declined you that looks bad, and if they approved you the lenders may worry that you're planning a spending spree if you get more than, say, 1 card a year BTW, the way home prices are going, you may be better off renting for a while, so no rush!
